Are my donations tax deductible? Yes, all donations to the Sanctuary are deductible, and you can use your on-line receipt for tax purposes. Donations over $250 will receive a donation letter and receipt through the mail as well. If I purchase a product, or event tickets, is that deductible? Yes, but only the amount above the value of the goods or services received - so for example - if you purchase tickets to one of our fundraising events, the cost of the food and other tangible items is not deductible... but the amount over those costs is. If you need a receipt for tax purposes, contact us, and we will provide you with a receipt that distinguishes the amount that is deductible. Where is the sanctuary located? We are just 30 miles northeast of Denver, Colorado near the town of Keenesburg. Do you have a Gift Shop at the Sanctuary? Yes, we have all the same great products in our Gift Shop located in our Welcome Center!
