Laidlaw-Beyea Wedding
Dear Family and Friends,
Welcome to our wedding registry website benefiting the Wild Animal Sanctuary, a national animal rescue located in Keenesburg, Colorado. Several members of our family are regular donors and visitors to the sanctuary. The sanctuary rescues large, exotic animals, such as lions, tigers, bears, wolves, leopards, and many other animals (coatimundis are a favorite of ours) that have been abandoned, abused, inappropriately raised as pets, or that come as "surplus" from zoos. Not only does the sanctuary take in the animals, it offers them a permanent, forever home--not in cages but in expansive, open habitats where they can happily and safely live out their lives.
The Wild Animal Sanctuary is a 501(c)3 non-profit organziation, and they survive solely on donations. We have visited the sanctuary many times, and Emily has written a couple of articles about the sanctuary, and it is truly a wonderful, deserving place. We would welcome contributions of any amount, large or small, in lieu of gifts for our wedding.
